Rich text

The Rich text section displays promotional text with custom layout and size, as well as optional images, video player, buttons, and other content and style blocks to design this section to your liking.

This section is great to welcome customers to your store, promotional content of all kinds, announcements, and more. It looks great between two image-focused sections.

The Rich text section has three blocks for a Heading, Subheading, and Text.

We recommended a short title of just a few words.

Change the Heading size to Small, Medium, or Large.

  2. Click the Subheading block to add a few words or short sentence below the heading.

  3. Click the Text block ("Use this text area...") to change the text.

Change the Text size to Small, Regular, or Large.

  4. (Optional.) Click (+) Add block to add an Accent block as a mini-heading in all capitals.

  5. (Optional.) Click (+) Add block to add multiple Images with custom sizes.

  6. Click Save.

Add video player

Add a short video that customers can click to play within the Rich text section.

The Video player block requires an .mp4 that's been uploaded to your Shopify Files.

This block is best for short videos. We strongly recommend using a video that's around 10 seconds long or less and that's under 10MB in size.

1. Upload video to Shopify files

In your Shopify Admin:

  1. Go to Settings > Files to open your [Shopify Files][files].
