Quick setup

The home page template includes default sections to get you started. In the theme editor, you can customize the content and layout of your page.

For an effective home page, we recommend focusing on a few essentials: introduce your brand and products, highlight promotions and sales, and present clear calls to action for your customers.

Note The home page uses default styles from your theme settings. You might want to start by selecting site-wide colors and fonts in the theme settings to match your brand. Then, you can add custom styles to your sections.

STEPS

In your theme editor (Customize):

  1. Use the Templates selector to open Home page.

  2. Add and edit theme sections to design the layout of your page.

Click the Hide icon or Remove section button to hide or delete sections.

Click and hold the drag and drop handles ⋮⋮ to change the order of sections.

  3. (Recommended.) Consider starting with a few of the following sections:

A hero section that states your store's purpose or highlights a single product.

A few featured collections or featured product to showcase top sellers or new arrivals.

A simple Rich text or Multi-column section to introduce your store or highlight your product's features.

Add Testimonials to build trust with quotes from partners and customers.

A Countdown bar or Promotion banner to announce promotions with a call-to-action.

A compact Newsletter section to grow your email subscribers list.

  4. Click Save.

  5. (Recommended.) Set up your Header and Footer.

Customers typically use these sections first to navigate your site, discover products and collections, and learn more about your store.
